Who we are

What data we collect
We collect minimal data to operate this service:
- Analytics and advertising data: If you accept optional cookies, Google Analytics (GA4) and Google AdSense may collect usage or ad-delivery data such as pages visited, device type, and approximate location. Google may use cookies to measure performance and serve ads.
- Postcode searches: When you use the postcode checker, the postcode is sent to our app and processed at request time so we can return the relevant council and scheme result. We do not intentionally store individual postcode searches in our own database.
- Contact emails: If you email us, we retain your message and email address to respond to your enquiry.
- Paid review requests: If you request a paid property licensing review, we collect the contact and property context you submit, such as email address, postcode, council details, property type, and any notes you choose to provide, so we can assess and fulfil the request.
We do not collect payment card details directly through normal use of this site. If payment is taken through an external payment provider, that provider processes the payment information under its own terms and privacy notice.

We only load optional analytics and advertising cookies if you give consent via our cookie banner.

Why we collect this data
We use consented analytics data to understand how people use the site so we can improve it. If you accept advertising cookies, Google AdSense may use its own data and cookies to deliver and measure ads. We do not sell your personal data ourselves.
